The girl behind the lens…

My name is Zanoré Steenkamp. I am the head photographer and owner of Meraki Impressions. I’ve been behind the camera since 2016 doing mainly weddings but dabbled in a few other categories in my industry. I studied at Open Window, where I got my degree in Visual Communication Design, majoring in Photography and Communication Design.

I love being present in the creative world either through design or photography. Because of this you will find that I am a very diverse photographer with a lot of knowledge in my field.

My main focus is wedding photography but I also do lifestyle, food, and editorial photography. 

I look at life through my rose coloured lens and what a wonderful life it is! I love how you can tell a story through something as simplistic as a photo. I love to capture the unexpected emotions, this is when you really see the person for who they are. I like discovering new places with a good cup of coffee, therefore I am always happy to meet potential clients and just sit down with them to get to know them and to understand what they want me as a photographer to do for them and come together on what type of style they are looking for.
